What I do

I’ve been professionally involved with software for the past 8 years, of which the past 3 I’ve worked independently as a consultant. These days I’m mostly helping companies adopt technologies like “devops”, containers, Kubernetes, scalable infrastructure and automated deployments (“CICD”). I strive to understand each client’s unique needs - whether it is to keep things simple and maintainable, cost efficient or being able to rapidly deliver prototypes.

If you’d like to find out if I can help you, I encourage you to just send me an email and we can schedule a call. I’m always happy to have a chat!

My background

I started with backend PHP development in my first few permanent roles. Not being content with spaghetti code and lack of autonomy, I gradually filled my spare evenings with freelance work. In 2017 I decided to change direction and go independently full time which also steered me towards the Kubernetes/devops direction.

I also have a keen interest in functional programming via Haskell (wrote a few side projects), reproducible configuration via Nix, as well as desktop / software ergonomics.
